Privacy Policy

1. Overview

The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website.

2. Data Controller

yoozoo GmbH
Salzburger Strasse 18

3. Data Collection on This Website

3.1 Server Log Files

The hosting provider of this website automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits. These include:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing device
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website — for this purpose, server log files must be collected.

3.2 Contact Form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the form, including the contact data you provide, will be stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR if your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR).

The data you enter in the contact form remains with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Mandatory legal provisions — in particular retention periods — remain unaffected.

3.3 Web Analytics

This website uses a self-hosted instance of Umami, a privacy-friendly web analytics tool. Umami does not set any cookies and does not store personal data. Only anonymised usage data is collected (page views, referrer, device type). It is not possible to identify individual visitors.

Data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the anonymised analysis of user behaviour to improve our website.

3.4 YouTube Videos (2-Click Solution)

This website displays video thumbnails as static images. No connection to YouTube (Google LLC) is established when you visit our website. Only when you actively choose to play a video and confirm the data transfer, an embedded YouTube player is loaded via youtube.com.

Once you consent and play a video, YouTube may set cookies and collect data such as your IP address, browser information, and viewing behaviour. YouTube is operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy.

The legal basis for this processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and § 25 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act).

4. Cookies

This website uses no cookies of its own. No tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or any other cookies are set. Therefore, no consent pursuant to § 25 TDDDG is required.

Note: When you choose to play an embedded YouTube video, YouTube may set cookies. This only occurs after your explicit consent (see section 3.4).

5. External Services

This website loads no external resources on initial page load. All fonts, scripts, images, and media are served locally from our own server. No data is transmitted to third parties unless you actively consent to play a YouTube video.

6. SSL Encryption

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of your browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser bar.

7. Your Rights

You have the right at any time to:

  • Access your personal data stored by us (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Berlin, this is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
